Vitamin C

To maintain collagen, a protein necessary in the formation
of connective tissue in skin, ligaments and bones.
It strengthens the dentin in teeth and is important
in helping to prevent plaque formation on teeth.
It facilitates the formation of connective tissue in the scar.

Problem of too little Vitamin C

The early symptoms are relatively nonspecific:
figure, general weakness, shortness of breath,
muscle cramps, aching bones and joints and loss of appetite.
It is known as petechiae.
The spot will appear when the body's normal store of vitamin C.

Problems of too much Vitamin C

It is water soluble and it is not stored
in significant quantities in the body.
If daily intakes exceed 250 to 300 milligrams,
the body will become saturated,
not absorb the extra amounts and excrete them.
